In my Opinion, when it comes to pictures like this one should not try to apply reality to it and just look at it for what it is. It's like that scene from Superman where the Man of Steel flys up and catches Lois Lane after she falls from the top of the building, sure in reality she would've been killed whether he caught her or not but the whole scene is not grounded in reality so it's okay. Same with this pic. It's not grounded in Reality and it's not suppose to be. For one thing, comparing someones thoughts and opinions on a furry picture to the KKK and the thing that's going on with Chick Fil A right now is a completely retarded thing to do since the 3 have pretty much absolutely nothing at all to do with each other.

Also about the ponies, that's not entirely true. Lauren Faust (the one who created the new generation, and also did Power Puff Girls), said that she actually tailored it so it would be entertaining for adults to watch as well since she knew more than likely the kids parents would be sitting with them and watching. But she didn't expect such a huge turnout of adult fans. That being said, when I watch ponies I watch it knowing full well how weird I am watching a show tailored MOSTLY for little girls.
